ecofloor, our polyester semi-rigid insulation board. ecofloor is a product that comprises of high density 100% polyester fibres, and is friction fixed between the underside of the floor joists. The polyester is non-irritant, non-allergenic, toxic free, easy to handle and install and adds a thermal resistance to the underside of the floor. This makes it the 'Ultimate' in under-floor insulation.
Our install teams have been completing works throughout Auckland and in other regions retrofit insulation services for local councils, the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) and for Housing NZ. In these houses we have been installing our ecofleece insulation into ceilings and SilverSark into underfloors. To date, Eco Insulation has supplied insulation to more than 12,000 homes nationwide, including 7000 Housing New Zealand homes alone, saving many millions of kilowatt hours of energy.
