What is it?Ecosleeve™ cylinder wrap is an aluminum foil laminated to one face of recycled wool or polyester fleece insulation material specifically designed for wrapping electric hot water cylinders to reduce heat loss from the stored water.A special reinforced flame retardant foil is used. Ecosleeve™ complies with the insulation standard AS/NZS 4859.1. Ecosleeve™ cylinder wrap is able to be installed without the need for protective clothing or equipment. Ecosleeve™ cylinder wrap is supplied as a 1250 mm wide by 3000 mm long roll material ready to be cut to length to fit to suit the diameter of the water cylinder. Identifying itEcosleeve™ cylinder wrap is silver in colour. Ecosleeve™ cylinder wrap is installed with the fleece material against the wall of the hot water cylinder. Individual packs are labeled to identify the product. Wool InsulationDimensionsEcosleeve™ cylinder wrap is supplied in 1250 mm widths (1200 mm foil and insulation with 50 mm foil overlap) to suit standard hot water cylinders.The length of roll is 3000 mm, equal to the cylinder circumference plus 200 mm overlap and the diameter of the cylinder (to allow for the capping piece). For taller cylinders, additional length (equal to the cylinder circumference plus 200 mm) must be ordered to ensure the cylinder walls are fully wrapped.
